Welcome to Movement Living

We’re a mother-daughter founded company by Amanda, 34, and Gabriela, 71 (mom and grandmother to June, 3 and Jack, 1) with over 40 years of experience producing wellness and fitness content for women worldwide. When we couldn’t find a community that reflected our vision for aging well, we decided to create one ourselves.

Our mission is simple: help women live well and age better.

Our free weekly wellness newsletter is delivered to thousands of women every Monday morning. It’s a routine we hope you’ll look forward to each week! In a world overflowing with content, we’re plugged into the latest wellness news to bring you the best of social media, the latest research, authentic experts, practical advice, and a healthy dose of fun. You’ll also get our free Weekly Moves: 7 impactful fitness classes each week to keep you moving and feeling your best. Our goal? To save you time and stress so you can focus on what matters.

Join our global community of like-minded women. We love hearing from you; your wellness goals, concerns, and wins fuel everything we do! Committed to making the next years our best yet, we want to help you do the same―let’s live well and age better, together.

Our Three Pillars

Our editorial approach is grounded in three key pillars: movement, food, and connection. Not just trendy buzzwords, these pillars are the foundation of whole-person wellness and the evidence-backed keys to living well and aging better.

Wellness doesn’t need to be complicated.

By focusing on three pillars, we make it simple and practical. You’re probably just a few healthy habits away from aging better!

MOVEMENT fuels our physical and mental health. We move to maintain independence, prevent health concerns we all worry about, and keep doing what we love. Movement includes walking, stretching, strength training, online fitness classes―and equally as important, rest, recovery, and sleep! We’re always looking for ways to incorporate more movement into our daily routines.

FOOD is about nourishment, not restriction. We highlight simple, healthy recipes, profile essential ingredients, and offer practical tips to make mealtimes work for your health, not against it. We also explore supplements and trends, always keeping things practical and approachable.

CONNECTION is key to your emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Whether deepening family bonds, investing in friendships, starting a new career path, or giving back to your community, fostering strong relationships and a sense of purpose are essential for a fulfilling and healthy life. And don’t forget, your most important relationship is the one you have with yourself.

Our Perspective on Aging

Time waits for no woman. Aging is inevitable. But far from giving up, we’re leaning in! For too long, we’ve been told to fear the natural process of growing older, as though aging is something to fix or hide. The first smile lines, the graying hair―each has been framed as a loss, instead of what they truly are: milestones of a life well-lived.

Enough. We’re stepping away from anti-aging narratives and stepping into a new mindset. Aging isn’t a burden or a barrier―it’s a privilege. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’s without its challenges. The more we share our experiences, the better off we will all be as we navigate what it means to age well as women.

We have the privilege and the responsibility to set the tone for the generations to come. Together, we’re charting a new course―one where wellness, joy, and confidence lead the way.
